Ahhh, where to start? We've enjoyed some very fun days celebrating christmas with our families. Some highlights include:
- discovering that the film reels from Grandpa and Grandma DeKorte which were made in the 1940s included some very risque footage of grandma. who knew?
- floor hockey in the gym -okay, specifically that I scored two goals on our 13 year old nephew (after which I celebrated by doing the burlington toyota jump).
- the fact that our kids are finally starting to discover the fine art of sleeping in. However, when I say sleeping in, that just means anything past 7:30. I'll take what I can get.
- arm wrestles with the Wildeboers. sadly I lost against Hannah, our 16 year old niece.
- hacking Mike's facebook page. One would think that this gets old, but I never really tire of it. Who could resist writing comments about their brother wearing a thong to work every day?
- skating with baby Lyn (okay, Carrie) at Nathan Philips Square
- singing "Ere Zeg God"
- watching our kids open and enjoy their gifts
- enjoying time with our parents, siblings, their spouses and families.

2nd day of snow.....

It's the second day of snow and already we're down a pair of mittens. Charis owned these mittens for three years until they were handed down to Michael yesterday. He lost them in the backyard within an hour. Let's blame it on the crazy winds.
